Transmission Project Manager/Engineer - Billings, MT

We are seeking a Transmission Project Manager/Engineer to join a nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals. This senior level position will serve as a technical expert with specialization in the area of transmission line design as well as project management and client management for transmission line projects up to 500kV. Performs complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This person will also serve as a key client contact and project manager on larger projects and will make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures; plan, organize, and supervise small to medium staff of professionals and technicians.

Requirements

•BSCE or BSEE
•Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
•15+ years of transmission line design experience is required
•Specific experience performing all aspects of line design including: PLSCADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects through 500kV
•Overhead power transmission is the focus of this position although any underground transmission experience would be helpful
•Experience managing/mentoring staff and providing technical leadership
•Strong client and project management skills are required
