Power Delivery Client Manager - Billings, MT

We are seeking a Power Delivery Client Manager to join a nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals. This senior level position will serve as a technical expert with specialization in the area of transmission line design as well as project management and client management for transmission line projects up to 500kV. The client currently services thousands of miles of transmission lines, hundreds of substations and hundreds of thousands of megawatts of daily power delivered. The client manager will become involved with understanding the short and long range goals of the client, managing specific projects as well as coordinating the production and deliverables of staff. This person will be involved with leading and performing complex engineering assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures as it relates to power delivery

Requirements

•BSCE or BSEE
•Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
•15+ years of transmission line design experience is required
•Specific experience performing all aspects of line design including: PLSCADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects through 500kV
•Overhead power transmission is the focus of this position although any underground transmission experience would be helpful
•Experience managing/mentoring staff and providing technical leadership
•Strong client and project management skills are required
