Botanist - Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, or San Diego, CA
Entry to senior-level positions are available to assist other biologists and planners in conducting floristic inventories and rare plant surveys, vegetation mapping, habitat restoration plans, preparation of survey reports, wetland delineations, permit applications, monitoring and compliance reports, and CEQA documents The right candidates will have strong botanical skills with a working knowledge of Southern California flora including the ability to key species readily through the Jepson Manual.
Other desired qualifications include the ability to travel and work throughout Southern California, excellent communication skills including technical writing and critical thinking, attention to detail and pride in high-quality results.
